Professional Internship Programme

The professional internship programme is an unpaid work placement in a UK company. This programme is ideal for students and young professionals who want to improve their English in a working environment and gain practical knowledge of a certain UK business sector.  It is most suitable for students who have studied or worked, or are planning on studying/working in the requested area of business.

Preceding English Language Course

The internship has to be preceded by at least a four-week English course at Select English London.

Length of Internship

The internship should be a minimum of 4 weeks.

Sectors of Placements

Many business sectors are covered, such as marketing, architecture, business administration, fashion, engineering, import, export, law, advertising, PR and others.

Level of English

Students should have reached an intermediate to upper-intermediate level of English

Location of Placement and Accommodation

Most placements are in London and, if convenient, candidates can stay in our school residence or homestay accommodation for the duration of their internship. Otherwise we can assist in finding alternative accommodation.
